REL FLUJO DEL AGUA
– THE COURSE OF WATER –

This series of photography were taken in different scenarios in Sierra de San José del Pacífico in Oaxaca, Mexico. I was looking for a certain geometry in water, a pattern that was fabricated by the intersection of flow and shadows.

I discovered that the flowing of water was conformed by several channels, and that when different watercourses met, they draw a grid that reflected on the bottom of the puddle, river, or lake. The light and colors reflected by this water structures combined with the shadow made by insects, dirt and leaves presented as a beautiful composition.

I wanted to capture the beauty of the moment, the nature's art with my lens, but the raw photography still didn't compare to what the real moment was, so I edited some colors so it could be closer to what I saw.
